Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Verafai's website, web application, or API (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you're using the Service on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on that company's behalf, and "you" refers to that company.
Accounts
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@verafai.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Verafai to:
- Upload media you don't have the legal right to analyze or store;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate our detection models;
- Circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or plan restrictions through automated means;
- Use analysis results to harass, defame, or falsely accuse a specific individual without independent corroboration.
Analysis Results Are Not Legal Proof
This is important, so we're stating it plainly: Verafai's synthetic-likelihood scores are a decision-support signal, not a certified forensic determination. Our target accuracy is greater than 95% on known generator families — which means results can be wrong, particularly on generator families released since our last retraining cycle. Analysis results should inform human review, not replace it, especially in legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
Intellectual Property
Verafai retains all rights to the Service, including our detection models, software, and branding. You retain all rights to media you upload. By enabling model-improvement sharing (opt-in only), you grant us a limited license to use confirmed real/fake samples to retrain our detection models.
Billing & Plans
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. Team and Pilot plans may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing cycle. Enterprise plans are governed by a separate order form and may include custom SLA and payment terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these terms, non-payment, or activity that poses a security or legal risk to Verafai or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after termination.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Verafai is an early-stage product under active development.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verafai's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including decisions made based on an analysis result.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Verafai Technologies Ltd. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders by email ahead of taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
